Umbilical Cord Blood Banking

1 in 3 parents do not know they can store their child's cord & blood tissue at birth. This could be potentially life-saving for your baby or other sibling in the future. I didn’t know about it until I stumbled across a video on netmums.

We all worry that our children could become ill in the future, If we knew we could do more to protect them maybe we’d consider alternative approaches such as umbilical cord blood banking. I’d of done this if I knew about it before having my 4 children.

What is Umbilical cord blood banking?

Stem cells collected from your baby’s umbilical cord shortly after birth can be used to protect your family from over 80 conditions and diseases, which could be life threatening.

Umbilical cord blood contains unique stem cells called haematopoietic stem cells. These cells can treat life-threatening blood diseases such as leukaemia, lymphoma and anemia.
